My piece for DA's 2017 Pride flag event.  I don't usually participate in events, I'm really shy! But since my partner Dyemelikeasunset got the opportunity to be involved, I couldn't help but want to contribute too! It's been over 12 years since I came out, but it's a massive driving force to my work; "Be the person that makes what you don't see represented in media." So that's what I do! It was a good reason to draw some of our characters being more mundane and sweet too, which is always nice and I really don't do it enough...

I picked Yellow- for sunlight and energy. I wanted to do something about lgbtqia families and the energy and strength that comes from that commitment. Shown here are me and my partner's OCs- Constance (left) and Linette (right), and their adopted daughter Temperance! They're usually found in a high fantasy setting, but I went with a modern human AU for this just like Dye did! They did another one of our wlw couples, Elliel and Naelia!


I totally encourage my followers to participate!! The deadline is June 10th, but it doesn't have to be super big or fancy to convey an experience or feeling. There's a chance it might end up on this nifty rainbow flag widget, and you guys know how much I love rainbows...
