Description

Edit October 2016: While I didn't participate in Inktober this year, I took this opportunity to add a few key panels to the beginning of this comic I did in 2014. I think these help explain the story much better! I promised I wouldn't get perfectionist about any other pages/scenes so I really hope so...!!

Happy Halloween!

2014:
Not quite halloween anymore, but... The last batch of my inktobers is a wordless mini-comic about a little witch and her love potion.
I had the idea back when I drew this panel at the start of inktober. Naturally it was only supposed to be 10-15 panels tops.... Haha! Haaa. Bee, you're so silly.

You can see the first two batches of inktober art I did here and here! They'll also be showing up/already showed up in recent/upcoming sketchdumps.

I had nineteen left to do, but there are about 34 panels total, so it's like it's own little inktober in one. Except I waited until the last minute and drew and inked them non-stop for like a week so forgive any that look a bit rushed... ://|;; I desperately wanted to add more in-between transition toward the end for more flow, but I am 1000% tapped out on this little project... So I hope you enjoy it as is.

When I started my sketchbook in 2011, the first things I drew in it were for the Picture This girls' Meet Sara/Jess/Stella/Monica pieces. That was a long time ago! It has two visits worth of Nafisah's doodles and memories, and three years of my life and growth in it. And with one page left (I may draw something sappy on it to commemorate its completion)... I filled it up. It's finished. Having started it with a big dream work-in-progress comic and finishing it with an actual comic was a very emotional revelation for me. I try not to talk about it, but I'm terrified of drawing comics and I already have a hard time with my self doubt. Completing this sketchbook- with this mini comic of all things, however small and random a whim it was- means so much to me.

Done on paper with a bunch of dying inking pens; Took me about 4-5 days. Thank you so much for the comments, watches, and favorites! :dalove:

Bee, this comic was amazing and even though I loved the ambiguity in your original 1st part, I do agree that this updated version will help people understand the story better!

not to sound gushy but I'm so proud of you omgee, just because I'm watching my art mama make progress with art and self esteem and it inspires me so much Thanks for everything! I feel like I'm at a point where whenever you're progressing, I'm progressing in the same way.

this little girl character is so precious; what a cutie :loves: V2 I actually refer to her as Rebecca, haha! She just feels like she'd be named Rebecca. I love those circumstances where the author's name correlates with their characters' names, so I guess that's why I call her that :aww:
